It is our pleasure to announce that Jerneh Insurance is back with our unique annual contest- Jerneh Friend of Green Malaysia Short Film Competition powered by EduSmith and support ed by Ministry of Environment And Natural Resources and Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA). In line with our corporate philosophy of being a model in corporate social responsibility, this is our second year organizing the contest after receiving overwhelming response last year.

The theme for this year's competition is "Energy Conservation" and the contest is divid ed into two categories targeting students between the ages of 16 to 19 (Category 1) and 20 to 23 (Category 2) and requires participants' creativity and skills to produce a 50-sec short film related to energy use and conservation. Jerneh Insurance strongly believe that energy conservation is part of essential doctrines to preserve our environment for the future thus this contest is set as a m edium to educate secondary school students and college / university students to appreciate the environment as well as to create environmental awareness among participants. In addition, this competition helps to encourage students to utilise IT peripherals and the internet in a productive manner.
